Antlook Download for Windows

Antlook for Windows

Your browser, with separate identities

Each identity gets its own cookies and proxy, plus a language and time zone that match that proxy. Ad and tracker blocking, split view, built-in tools and Neural AI.

Illustrative animation: an Antlook window projected as a hologram. Chapter by chapter it shows two separate identities, each with its own cookies and proxy, and a language and time zone that match that proxy; ads and trackers bouncing off a shield, and Bunker Mode; split view with built-in tools (PDF, translator, 2FA, OCR) and Neural summarizing a page; and finally suspended tabs and bookmarks being imported from Chrome, Edge or Brave.

Practical privacy

What’s yours stays separate. The rest gets blocked.

Identities that never mix, ads and trackers blocked out of the box, and a locked-down tab for pages you don’t trust. It cuts down tracking; no browser makes you invisible.

Separate identities

Each identity has its own cookies, its own proxy (HTTP or SOCKS) and its own user agent, with a language and time zone that match its proxy, so what you do in one doesn’t cross over into another.

Antlook also alters Canvas, WebGL and audio so they don’t report your computer’s real values. It’s a browser-wide setting, not a per-tab one.

Ads and trackers, out

The built-in blocker filters ad and tracking requests using well-known filter lists and hides banners, with no extensions to install.

The lists are refreshed at startup when they’re more than a day old. Platforms change often, so the odd ad may slip through until we update the rules.

Bunker Mode

About to open a page you don’t trust? Turn it on for that tab: Antlook replaces the site’s Content Security Policy (CSP) with one that doesn’t allow scripts or plugins to run, and reloads the page.

It’s switched on and off tab by tab. Sites that depend on JavaScript may not work while it’s on.

Productivity

Fewer extensions to install, more within reach

One website to edit PDFs and another to translate? Antlook builds these tools into the browser itself, free of charge, and many of them run on your computer without uploading your files to any server.

Two pages at once, in the same window

With “View next to current tab” you put two pages side by side, so you can study or work without losing your train of thought.

  • Take notes while you watch a video lesson
  • Ask the assistant questions while you read a document
  • Work in one half and check your sources in the other

More than 15 built-in utilities

Productivity and security tools inside the browser, without uploading your documents to a website you don’t know.

  • PDF
  • Translator
  • 2FA
  • OCR
  • Capture
  • Notes
  • Encryptor
  • And more

More than 20 games for your breaks

Snake, falling blocks, Minesweeper, sudoku, 2048 and more. Almost all of them work offline.

Missing something? Chrome extensions

Open an extension on the Chrome Web Store and click the Antlook install button that appears on the page, or paste its link into the extensions panel.

Neural

AI your way: in the cloud or on your PC

Ask about the page you’re on, get a summary, or let the agent carry out tasks on the web for you.

Antlooks Cloud by default

Our own model server (not OpenAI).

Local model with Ollama

If you’d rather nothing leave your computer, use a local model and turn on strict local mode.

Summaries in Reader mode

In Reader mode, it pulls out the key sentences of a long article, right on your computer.

Page translation

Translates with models that run on your PC; if there’s no local model for that language, it uses Antlooks Cloud.

Lightweight and easy to switch to

Your PC isn’t old: your browser is loading too much

Less loading means less work for your computer. And switching browsers doesn’t have to be a hassle.

Tabs go to sleep after 15 minutes

When a tab has gone unused for 15 minutes, Antlook unloads it from memory and reloads it as soon as you open it. It stays in your tab bar, just like before.

If you like, it can also automatically archive tabs you haven’t touched in days.

Bring your bookmarks over in moments

Antlook finds Chrome, Edge and Brave on your computer and imports their bookmarks: the bookmarks bar and all your other folders. Your previous browser isn’t changed, so you can keep using it.

For now it doesn’t import passwords, history or extensions.

Transparency

No fine print

What stays on your computer, what data leaves it, and what you can switch off.

Stays on your computer

  • Your history, bookmarks and passwords are stored on your PC; Antlook doesn’t sync them to any server.
  • The password and identity vault is encrypted with Windows Data Protection (DPAPI).
  • Files in the encryptor are processed on your computer with AES-256-GCM; the key is derived from the password you choose.
  • No account required.

What does leave your computer

  • Essential record: a random installation ID, the version, the operating system and a periodic activity signal. It can’t be turned off.
  • Diagnostics: errors, browser and system memory, number of tabs and which features you use. On by default.
  • AI assistant: whatever you ask it (voice dictation included) is processed on Antlooks Cloud, unless you choose a local model.
  • Other connections: updates, filter lists, tool and model downloads… See the full list.

What you decide

  • Diagnostics can be turned off in Settings → Privacy.
  • With a local model (Ollama) and strict local mode, what you ask the assistant never leaves your computer.
  • We never send your history, bookmarks or passwords. Other connections: see the full list.

Essential record (always on)

It tells us how many installations there are and how many are still in use. It’s sent when you install, when you open the browser, and then every 15 minutes while it’s open. It contains only:

  • A random installation ID (UUID), generated on your computer; it isn’t derived from your hardware or your account.
  • The Antlook version.
  • The operating system and architecture (for example, win32 / x64).
  • The date and time it was sent.

It can’t be turned off, and Settings → Privacy says so (“Essential record”).

Diagnostics and performance (can be turned off)

On by default. Turn it off in Settings → Privacy → Diagnostics and performance and it stops being sent immediately. It includes:

  • Browser status, every 5 minutes: installation ID, version, operating system, architecture and Windows version; session time; browser memory, total and free system memory and number of CPU cores; tab counts (open, sleeping, playing video, loading, blocked or closed), active downloads, internal health events and whether split view or a panel is open. Numbers only, never page addresses or titles.
  • Errors: the message and the stack trace, with the folder paths on your computer removed; the version, operating system and session time.
  • Feature usage: the name of the internal feature used (for example, a tool), not what you did with it.

IP address and retention

  • Our API doesn’t store your IP address as is: it stores a SHA-256 hash with a secret salt, which we use to limit abuse. The hosting provider may keep technical access logs for a limited time.
  • Browser status, sessions and feature usage are deleted after 60 days by a daily task. Aggregated daily statistics are kept, with no identifiers.
  • If you send us feedback or a bug report from the browser, we receive the type, your message, your email if you type it in, the installation ID, the version and the operating system. Only when you choose to send it.

Outgoing connections from the browser

  • Antlooks Cloud (api.antlooks.com): the default assistant. It receives your request and, if you ask it to work on a page, that page’s content or screenshots. It also handles voice dictation, and page translation when there’s no local model for that language.
  • Assistant searches: when the agent searches the web for you, it queries DuckDuckGo (duckduckgo.com).
  • Local AI models: the first time you use a local AI feature (translation, summaries, grammar checking, background removal), the model may be downloaded from huggingface.co. With strict local mode on, nothing that isn’t already on your computer gets downloaded.
  • Video and recording: the first time you use the video downloader or screen recording, yt-dlp and ffmpeg are downloaded from github.com.
  • OCR: text-recognition capture downloads its engine and language data from cdn.jsdelivr.net.
  • Updates: the browser checks update.antlook.io.
  • Blocker: downloads its filter lists from the servers of whoever publishes them, at most once a day.
  • Extensions: when you install one, it’s downloaded from Google’s servers (Chrome Web Store).
  • Antlook Farm: the game looks up the weather for the city you enter on open-meteo.com.
  • Offers: the offers section may include affiliate links; if you open one, the third party may be able to tell you came from Antlook.
  • Proxies: if you set one up, your traffic goes through the server you choose.

This website (antlook.io) uses no cookies or analytics, and loads no third-party resources.

Safe download

Download Antlook and check it yourself

Only download Antlook from antlook.io. Here’s what you need, why Windows may warn you, and how to verify the file.

Antlook for Windows

  • Windows 10 and 11
  • 64-bit
  • Free
  • Imports your bookmarks from Chrome, Edge or Brave
Download for Windows

Antlook.exe is a small installer: it fetches the full version over HTTPS, only from update.antlook.io.

If Windows shows a warning

For Windows to recognize a program’s publisher, the program needs a code signing certificate (Authenticode), which costs money and is tied to a verified identity. Antlook doesn’t have one yet, so SmartScreen shows “Unknown publisher”. It’s a warning about missing reputation, not the detection of a specific virus.

  1. In your browser: if the download is flagged as uncommon, open the download’s menu and choose Keep.
  2. In Windows: if “Windows protected your PC” appears, click More info, check that the app is Antlook.exe and choose Run anyway.

How to verify the download

  1. Compute the installer’s hash in PowerShell, from your Downloads folder: Get-FileHash .\Antlook.exe -Algorithm SHA256 It should match: B1E95268C64A089A6DE35F01F86AC367BBACC8F3431950F539057E9491EA213A
  2. The installer then downloads the full version and only runs it if its size and SHA-256 match the release manifest, which is signed with our RSA key (manifest signature).
  3. For a second opinion, you can scan the file on VirusTotal before opening it.

FAQ

Before you make the switch

Is Antlook free? How is it funded?

Yes. Antlook is free and we don’t sell your data. The project is funded by voluntary donations (the “Support the project” button on this site) and by an offers section inside the browser that may include affiliate links: if you sign up for a service through one of them, we may earn a commission.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?

For now, Antlook is only available for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. Versions for macOS and Linux are being considered, but there’s no date yet.

Will I lose my passwords and bookmarks if I switch?

Your bookmarks are imported; you’ll need to export your passwords from your previous browser (there’s no automatic import for now). Your previous browser isn’t changed, so you don’t lose anything.

Why does Windows or my antivirus warn me when I download it?

Antlook doesn’t have a Windows code signing certificate (Authenticode) yet. Without one, SmartScreen shows “Unknown publisher”, and some browsers or antivirus programs flag the file as uncommon. It’s a warning about missing reputation, not the detection of a specific virus. You’ll find the steps and the SHA-256 hash under Safe download.

What data does Antlook send?

An essential record (a random installation ID, the version, the operating system and an activity signal every 15 minutes) and, unless you turn it off, diagnostic data (errors, memory, number of tabs and features used). We never send your history, bookmarks or passwords; what you ask the assistant (voice dictation included) is processed on Antlooks Cloud unless you choose a local model. The browser also connects to other servers to update itself, download filter lists, tools and models, or search DuckDuckGo when the agent needs to: every field and connection is in the full list of connections and data, and retention periods and your rights are in the privacy policy.
